JUDITH DUCHART It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Christine Duchart on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the Ste. Rose General Hospital. Judy was born April 18, 1950 to Stefan and Margaret Yanchycki (nee Burgess) of Shoal Lake, Manitoba. After completing her training as a Licensed Practical Nurse, she came to McCreary in February 1971. She was employed at the McCreary-Alonsa Health Centre until her retirement in October, 2001. Judy met Bill Duchart shortly after her arrival in McCreary. They were married in July, 1973 at the First Baptist Church in Strathclair, Manitoba. Left to mourn her passing are her loving husband Bill, daughter Tina (Steven) Szewczyk, son Tristan (Erin) and her precious grand-children Kaitlyn, Christopher and Calleigh and her cat Spike. She is survived by two sisters Louise (Jamie) Hoskins and Doreen (Wes) Dahl, two brothers Dan and Robert (Joan), in-laws Don (Joan) Duchart and Margaret Duchart as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mom's life was committed to caring for others, as a nurse and for her family. She was always putting the needs of others before her own. Our family wishes to thank the McCreary EMS technicians, Dr. Gudmundson, Dr. O'Hagan and Dr. Mand and the wonderful nurses and staff of the Ste. Rose Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care during Judy's final days. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the McCreary Community Centre, McCreary, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy's name can be made to the McCreary Health Auxiliary, Box 459, McCreary, MB R0J 1B0.
