JULIUS DIATO January 13, 1968 June 11, 2011 At 43 years of age after a courageous battle with cancer, Julius went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at St. Boniface General Hospital with his family by his side. Julius leaves behind to mourn his passing his beloved wife Josie and treasured children James, Jessica, Joshua and Jayden, his loving and devoted siblings Rachelle (Conrad), Carlo (Leah), Pam (Dave), and Patricia (Justin), loving nephews Ryan, Reynold, Trase and Liam, beautiful nieces Ruth, Rebecca, Rhea and Lexie, great-nephews Jaci and Ethan, caring in-laws and along with countless other friends and family too numerous to mention. He was predeceased by his loving and caring parents Epifanio and Erlinda. Julius was happiest when he was surrounded by his family. He cherished every one of us as we cherished him. He touched the lives of many people with his kind heart and humbleness. His sense of humour and unconditional love for all of us will never be forgotten. He would have us remember one thing: to follow God, trust and rest in Him. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at St. Boniface General Hospital on the Palliative Care Unit for the care and compassion they have shown to Julius. You all had a part in creating a warm home environment for him. Viewings will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 17 and 18, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street, Winnipeg.
