BURTON JAMES KENNEDY September 9, 1943 - June 12, 2011 Surrounded by family, Burton passed away peacefully at his son's home in Wyevale, Ontario. Burton is survived by his wife Lucille, sons Tim of Wyevale and Mark of Penetanguishene and his grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Alexandra, Amanda, Shawn and Emelia. He leaves behind his parents Burton and Agnes Kennedy of Winnipeg, his sister Judith of Toronto and his brother Roger (Brenda) of Winnipeg. Burton grew up in Winnipeg, and later worked for the head offices of The Royal Bank of Canada in Montreal and Toronto. Upon his retirement in 1995 he moved to Ajijic, Mexico where he resided for the past 15 years. Special thanks is extended to Heather Gordon for opening her home to Burton in his last few weeks, to the Bayshore Home Care Staff for their impeccable services and to Barbara Glass of Hospice Huronia for all her help and compassion. Friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday June 18 (1:00 p.m.) at the Lynn-Stone funeral home in Elmvale Ontario. Interment will be held at a later date.
