MARGARET CRACKNELL Peacefully at the age of 86, Margaret Cracknell (nee Forbes-Bentley) passed away June 12, 2011. Margaret was predeceased by former husband Alan, son Toby, brother George, sister Eliza, and daughter-in-law Sherry. She is survived by son Ian and grandchildren Darren, Scott, Maitreya and great-grandchildren Dylan, Atom, Logan, Garnett; daughter Judith (Gordon) Campbell and grandchildren Hugh, Mark, Sam; daughter Elizabeth (Alan) Hnatiuk, and grandchildren Lita, Clark and Sally. Granny was born in 1924 and grew up in Malta and England. She earned a diploma in Fine Art, and married Alan Cracknell in 1952, moving to Winnipeg in 1959. She enjoyed her career with Employment and Immigration Canada, as well as camping, travelling, gardening, painting, and needlework. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and community volunteer. Special thanks to her church family and all her friends for all their love and support. Her funeral will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 11:00 at St. Anne's Church, 253 Burrin Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anne's Church, Canadian Hemophilia Society-Manitoba Chapter, or a charity of one's choice.
