Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I know this is very, very late, but I wanted to offer my condolences to the Allan family. Todd and I were best friends growing up as children in the Maples. I used to ride my bike to 10 Mandan road seemingly everyday during the summer months to hang out with Todd. Some of my fondest childhood memories are hanging out with him, sleepovers at the house and the camper trips I was invited too.  As I grew older, I  switched schools. We stayed in touch and but didn't hang out as much. And when I went away to Toronto to live, we lost track of one another for years at a time.  I am fortunate that he did manage to meet my wife Yasmin at least once. I did know he was ill, and spoke to him at a few times while he was in Lethbridge. I did find about his passing after it happened.  I remember his birthday  being on January 5th, and when I was looking through my calendar, I saw that date and thought of him. To this day I have never met someone who seemed to enjoy life as much as Todd. He was always so much fun to be around. He generally cared about people.  Even though we wouldn't see each other for years at a time, when we met up again, it always like old times. I really miss him. - Posted by: Jay Tharayil (Friend) on: Dec 12, 2019
