KEITH RICHARD Suddenly on Monday, June 13, 2011, with his family by his side, Keith (our precious Dad) passed away peacefully at the age of 64. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Norma of 41 years; his children, Tim (Sara), Kent (Joelle), Christy (Joe); and his grand-children, Justin, David, Jade, Kieran, Ashley, Carter, Grayson, Kennedy, Alex and Julien. He is also survived by his mother Ann (Dewolfe) Richard of Moncton, NB and his nine brothers and sisters, Brian (Vicky), Linda (Reg), Larry (Ruth), Judy (Brian), Diane (Kevin), Paula (Ted), Wanda (Doug), Ralph (Debbie) and Joan (Marcel). He is predeceased by his father Lionel and nephew Jesse McLean. Keith was born in Newcastle, NB in 1946 and transferred to Winnipeg in 1987 with CN, where he worked for 33 years. Keith was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Transcona Council. He was also involved in many aspects of Parish Life. He volunteered for Winnipeg Harvest and loved his time spent with the men and women at the Kathy Markoff Fitness Centre. He loved to play golf, computer games with Tim, gardening, watching his Montreal Canadiens and was known for his shiny white car. He was happiest when surrounded by his friends and family. Funeral mass with a Knights of Columbus Honour Guard will be held on Monday June 20, 2011 at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 710 Roanoke St. at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Gerry Sembrano presiding. Interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery. Prayers will be held at Blessed Sacrament on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Brian Carter presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation. Arrangements made by Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 224-1525.
