BENEDETTA VALENTINI (nee PALMIOTTO) It is with great sadness that we announce, on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at St. Boniface Hospital surrounded by her loving family, Benedetta Valentini passed away at the age of 69. Benedetta was predeceased by her husband, Nicola Valentini. She is also predeceased by her mother Caterina Dagostino, her father Tommaso Palmiotto and her two sisters Maria and Michelina. She will be forever missed and remembered by her two loving daughters Chiara Valentini-Tauvette and Caterina Bova, her sons-in-law, Geoffrey Tauvette and Joseph Bova, and her elder sister Angela Scerbo. She will always be remembered by her dear grandchildren Julia, Nicolas, and Giuseppe, the greatest pride and joy of her life. Benedetta was both a loving and extremely devoted mother and grandmother. Her love and generosity had no bounds when it came to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by her brother Giuseppe (Sabina), her sisters Enza (Nicola) of Italy and Isabella (Gaetano) of Australia, brother- in-laws; Angelo and Antonio, numerous nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and Australia. Among them she will be missed dearly by those closest to her; nieces Donata, Caterina (Sam), and Giuseppina. The family wishes to thank and recognize the wonderful staff, nurses, and doctors for their loving care, respect, and treatment they provided to her on 7AW at St. Boniface Hospital. Pallbearers will be Joseph Bova, Geoffrey Tauvette, Sam Pellettieri and Michael Belkin. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at 11:00 am at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., with her viewing to be held at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be at Holy Angel Mausoleum, No. 1 Hwy. East at Navin Road.
