MARY LOUISE (MARY LOU) STEWART November 1927 - June 2011 Mary Lou passed away in Surrey, BC on June 14, 2011 at the age of 83. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Predeceased by her beloved husband Walter, she is survived by her family, son Gordon (Darcy), daughters Frances (Bill) and Barbara, and much loved granddaughters Stacey, Lindsay, Alison and Victoria. Mary Lou was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba where she graduated as a Registered Nurse. She lived for many years in Powell River, BC. where she was an active member of the United Church. She was an avid gardener, and as a weaver and potter, she was a member of the Powell River Fine Arts Association. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
