MARIE TURNER (nee TRACE) September 18, 1916 - June 9, 2011 It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother at Fred Douglas Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband Allan Turner and her brother Douglas Trace. Marie's memory is cherished by her two daughters Georgina (Walter), Margaret (Len) and grandchildren Holly, Natalie, Chris (Tania), Lesley, five great-grandchildren and her dear sister-in-law Breta Trace plus numerous nieces and nephews. Marie was a very special, loving lady and will be sadly missed by many. We would like to extend our deep appreciation to family and dear friends who gave their loving care and support over the years. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to all of the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge for all their love, kindness and wonderful care. Special thanks to Rev. Paul. At Marie's request there will be no service and cremation has taken place. Marie so loved animals. In lieu of flowers, donations to Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way would be greatly appreciated.
