HAROLD JOHN ALLEN 1953 - 2011 On Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Victoria General Hospital, Harold Allen aged 57 years of Winnipeg, MB passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Harold was born June 25, 1953. The family farmed west of Thornhill until the spring of 1964 when they moved to Morden. In October 1967, Leslie and Winona moved to Winnipeg with their son. The girls were already married. Harold attended school and high school in Winnipeg. Harold started working odd jobs to support himself. He loved to fish when he got the chance and working on the cars of his buddies, whom he enjoyed hanging out with. He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter, Corrise Proulx, his mother, Winona Allen (nee Broadbent) and sister, Irene Kauenhofen, brothers-in-law, Frank Kauenhofen and Harry Wheeler, two nieces, five nephews, two great-nieces, four great-nephews and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Leslie Allen in 1993 and sister, Doreen Wheeler in 2010. Cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Knightcot Cemetery in Thornhill, MB with reception to follow at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, 1050 Thornhill St. in Morden.
