Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJULES LEON COLLOT June 1, 1911 - June 10, 2011 Peacefully, on June 10, 2011 at Tache Centre, Jules Collot passed away at the age of 100 years. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Simone (Antoine) in 1982, his parents Marie and George, five sisters and six brothers as well as many of his dear friends. Jules is survived by his daughter Claudette (Jim) Martelle of Trenton, ON and son Lou (Joan) of Winnipeg, MB, grandfather to James Robert (Carrie) Martelle of Trenton, Christine Martelle (and friend Wayne Whitley) of Trenton, Anne-Marie (Peter) Cunningham of Wooler, ON, Cathy (Brad) Love of Abbotsford, BC, Sandra Collot of Winnipeg and six great- grandchildren. Jules was born in Manage, Belgium where he took his profession as a cabinet maker. In 1932 he married his dearest friend Simone and in 1951 they came to Winnipeg. Jules worked his talents throughout the city for Dowse Woodwork Ltd. for 25 years, retiring in 1976. He loved fishing, camping and travelling across Canada, Belgium and the Bahamas. Jules was a member of the Legion Belgian Veterans and the Belgium Club. Jules will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed. The family would like to thank the very dedicated doctors and staff at Tache Centre 4th floor ABC and St. Boniface Hospital. At Jules' request, cremation and a private family service was held.
