Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFAITH L. JOA (nee CHRISTENSEN) April 5, 1947 - June 21, 2010 It was the first day of summer The rain was lightly falling about midday When Faith said her final farewell, To this mortal plain we call home And fell to sleep in the arms of the Lord And to join all her relations and friends That went before her to welcome her And those of us to follow. Let us pause a moment to remember Faith in her new eternal home As she prepares a place for us When it's our turn to follow Into the eternal scheme of life With the loved ones who proceeded us Into the Kingdom of our Saviour Miss Me But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room, Why cry for a soul set FREE? Miss me a little, but not too long, And not with your head bowed low Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take And each must go alone, It's part of the Master's plan A step on the road to home. So when you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends and family we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds Miss Me - But let me go. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunlight on rippling grain I am the gentle autumn's rain When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds encircled in flight I am the soft stars that shine at night Do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there, I did not die. Loving you and deeply missing you From the time you first entered our lives Wishing you could still be here to guide And solace us through the good times As well as the bad As only a true spirit of the universe Could possibly do May we all be blessed by your spirit As you watch over us As we struggle through life As best we can without you Missing you greatly and missing you always from your Mom Ruth V. Carman, your brothers Wallace Christensen and wife Katie and family, Oliver Christensen and wife Sharron and family, her sister Josephine and Don McFadyen and family, all her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends thru the years from near and far. So we'll go no more arroving So late into the night Though the heart be still as loving And the moon be still as bright For the sword outwears it's sheath. And the soul outwears the breast And the heart must pause to breathe And love itself have rest. And from the ones who love you And will miss you most. Your loving husband Lyle and your Number 1 Miracle son Donald and of course your pets who don't know why you're no longer here. Bye for now LOVE ALL
