KEVIN CHRISTOPHER WESELAK It is with deepest sadness and sorrow, the family of Kevin Christopher (K.C.) Weselak announce his sudden passing at his home in Ottawa. Kevin was born March 1, 1968. He leaves to mourn his loving son Merrick, parents Vic and Joan, brother David (Leslie), nephews, Caeden, Talon and Eben, his uncle Ed (Lesley), cousins Jackie, Jennifer, Jill and Lindsey, along with many other family and friends. Kevin attended the University of Manitoba where he majored in Agriculture Economics, University of Winnipeg and Red River Community College. He chaired an International Agricultural conference at the University of Manitoba. After completing his education he worked for the Federal Department of Agriculture. He later moved to Ottawa to work for Cognos/IBM in the SAP field. Kevin was a loving father and was so proud of his son Merrick. Kevin was generous to a fault and was always willing help anyone in need. He loved camping, starting at the age of three months and continuing all his life. Kevin was an athlete and played hockey for the Fort Garry Twins, he skydived, went white water canoeing and tramped through the jungles of Puerto Rico and Brazil. He travelled extensively and always said that Antarctica was the only continent he had not set foot on. Cremation has taken place and in keeping with his wishes, there will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 1480 Loudoun Road between 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. Dear St. Christopher, Protect me today In all my travels along the road's way. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I did not know Kevin had passed and I am so sorry I did not find out sooner. As we had dated I always believed that he had moved on or relocated. I had tried looking for him on the internet or via his old email. I feel extremely sad and bereft of a beautiful soul. I am sorry I could not help him but feel perhaps I should have tried harder. I will not forget the beautiful memories he left for me and his true inner kindness. He loved St. Christopher, his philosophy, grilled cheese sandwiches and mashed potatoes:) I hope to see him again in a better world. Love to you Kevin.....Tara xoxo - Posted by: Tara (Friend) on: Nov 08, 2016
