JANINA HELENA WAZNA It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Janina on June 18, 2011, a sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend to many. Janina arrived in Canada on December 1, 1960. She crossed the Atlantic on Stefan Batory , a great Polish ship with a lot of great war time history. Janina worked at The Fort Garry Hotel as well as The Delta Hotel until retiring in the 1980s. During the summer, Janina loved spending time outside with her sister along with Bailey and Buda - the family dogs. She was always there to help in any way she could. She loved her sister Helena, her niece Teresa (Peter), her great-niece Edyta (Arthur) and great-nephew Peter (Anna). Janina will be missed by the entire family in Winnipeg and in Poland. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 22 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Ghost Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg, MB with viewing at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Holy Ghost Cemetery.
