ANICETO TUAZON CANO (ANNI) February 9, 1933 - June 18, 2011 The family sadly announces the peaceful passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather Aniceto T. Cano on June 18, 2011 at the age of 78 years he is survived by his wife Sabina Mendoza Cano and his daughter Linda Cano Fabros. Anni was predeceased by his son Ferdinand M. Cano. Anni was born in Tarlac, Philippines on February 9, 1933 he arrived in Canada on April 27, 1980. He worked at Motor Coach Industriesfrom May, 1980 until his retirement in 1998. He had a great love of the outdoors, expressing this with his many hours afield hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed baseball, basketball and boxing, but most of all playing chess. He was also an active member of the Filipino Seniors Group. Lamay will be held on Thursday, June 23 at 6:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Edward the Confessor Parish Church, 836 Arlington Street on Friday, June 24 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev.
