FRED THIESSEN It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frederick Thiessen in Winnipeg, MB on June 20, 2011, at the age of 83 years. Fred leaves to mourn his wife Bertha; daughters Janice (George) Clark, Dale (Joe) Cosme; stepdaughters, Linda (Vinka), Lorette (Denis), Lillian; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as numerous family and friends. Fred was predeceased by his wife of 33 years, Mary; his mother Helena; brothers, Jakob, Martin; three sisters, and stepdaughter Lorraine. Fred resided in Winnipeg, MB, he retired from Livingston in 1992 after 26 years. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2011 from Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2528 King Edward St., Winnipeg, MB. Viewing one hour prior. Rev. Richard Beinart officiating. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Special thank you to the doctors and staff of 3E of Riverview Health Centre.
