DOLORES VOLK (nee BELLEFEUILLE) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dolores Rose Volk (nee Bellefeuille) on Saturday, June 18, 2011. Dolores was born in Keewatin, Ontario on October 19, 1914. She was predeceased by her husband Michael, of 53 years, her parents Henri and Aimée, her brother Roy and her sister Evilina. Mom will be greatly missed. Left to mourn her passing are her sons Ron (Laurie), Bob (Veronica), Mark (Simone), and her daughter Constance (Bruce), her 13 grandchildren as well as her six great-grandchildren. She devoted herself to her church where she helped with the charitable bazaars to raise money for the needy by donating her knitted goods. She donated her time at the food bank. Mom loved to travel, and was an avid reader. She liked to brag that she had been overseas 16 times. Now she is on her final journey and now it is time for a well deserved rest. We all love you and will miss you. We would like to thank Brenda and her staff at Jocelyn House for the wonderful care they gave her and to the hospitals for their palliative care. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25 at Holy Cross Parish, 252 Dubuc Street. Private family interment will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery.
