JOHN FEDIUK 1928 - 2011 Suddenly on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Waverley and Rosewood Retirement Community, John went to be with the Lord. Remaining to forever cherish John's memory is his wife, Beatrice; daughter Michelle; son-in-law Perry; granddaughter Kali; as well as by his sister, Christine in Toronto; brother Bill and sister-in-law Fran. He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Pearl, and sister, Olga. John was born in Tyndall, Manitoba. He worked for Winnipeg Transit for 32 years and was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5808. After retiring, John spent many winters with Bea in Weslaco, Texas. He enjoyed travelling, gardening and photography. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 255 Stafford Street, with Rev. Fr. Gerry McDougall S.J., presiding. A private family entombment will be held in the Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in John's name to the charity of your choice.
