NORMAN DUBE September 1, 1939 June 21, 2011 Peacefully, on June 21, 2011, with family by his side, Norm passed away. Norm was predeceased by his father Donias Dubé, sister Dorothy Chester, stepfather John Brychka and mother Louetta Brychka. He will be greatly missed by his daughters: Celine (Ben), Rhea (Jeff) and beloved grandchildren: Andrew, Jordan, Jessica, Sydney and Alyric; as well as his sisters, Fran and Lorraine (Bruce) and numerous nieces and nephews. Also by the grand-puppies: Dalila, Ruby and Sawyer to whom he LOVED to feed too many cookies! Norm loved cooking, bowling in his younger years, crossword puzzles and The Montreal Canadiens. Grandpa would drop everything if one of the grandkids needed him as they were his life. Norm retired last June after 51 years at Lucerne Foods Bakery. We would like to thank the 3-unit 7 staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital, home care nurses Shannon and Rachel and the staff at St. Boniface Palliative Care for the excellent care they provided for our dad and grandpa. To his friend Glen, your frequent visits always brightened his day. We are also grateful to all family members for taking care of dad for the short period he was able to come home for. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St. Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. In keeping with Norm's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, June 30 at 1:00 p.m. in Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.
