Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARTIN (MARKIE) MARKIEWICH Peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2011 at St. Boniface General Hospital, Martin Markiewich passed away at the age of 96 years. Martin was predeceased by his daughter Margaret. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife of 63 years, Elizabeth and children: Douglas (Sherrin) Markiewich, Grant (Carol) Markiewich, Joanne Lee (Richard Andison) and grandchildren: Macara Markiewich (Ryan McGregor), Brandon Markiewich, Madison Lee. Martin resided in Winnipeg and found a lot of joy in his summers at Ingolf, Ontario and warm winter vacations. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all. He greatly appreciated his friendships and made life long connections. His wisdom, generosity and kind heart he shared with all. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
