IRENE FLOYD It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and sister on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the West Park Manor in Winnipeg at the age of 79 years. Irene was predeceased by her husband Bill in 2007. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her sons Paul (Debbie) and Gordon (Bernice), grandchildren, Andrew (Leanne), Kristi (Mike), Adrienne and Erin, great-grandchildren Branden and Taylor, and will also be missed by her sister Barbara. Irene enjoyed the time she spent on the St. James Bowling League and her many years involved volunteering with the Optimists Club of Assiniboia. Irene loved to play cards with her family and friends, she also loved to spend her pastime knitting scarves, mittens and slippers for her family, and even taught her granddaughters this special art. The family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff at West Park Manor for the care they gave to mom in her last years of life. In accordance with our mother's last wishes, there will be a private family service and interment.
