Norman Jones, 93 years young. Norman was born in Ashern, MB to George and Bertha Jones and was the eldest brother of three. Predeceased by brothers Raymond and Basil. Norman joined the R.C.M.P., May 5, 1941 and retired in 1974 attaining the rank of Chief Superintendent. Predeceased by his first wife, Ainsley (nee Gemmill), and eldest son Evan, and is survived by son Mark and adopted daughter Kim Maclaurin, his second wife and loving companion Joy (nee Jerred) who he wed in 1980, stepdaughter Frances Paquette, stepson David Johnson and four grandchildren Casey, Joshua, Bryanna and John. "Rest in peace my love" Funeral to be held Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28 Ave. Surrey, BC.
