GERALDINE (GERRI) PATRICIA CRYDERMAN After a short but hard fought battle with cancer, Gerri departed this world quietly on Monday, June 27, 2011 at the Selkirk Hospital, at the age of 46 years. Gerri is survived by her loving husband David, of 11 years of marriage; her daughter Leanne (Gord); son Corey (Jennifer); grandson Hunter; father and mother (Wally and Anne); sister Glenda (Rick); nephews, Jamie and Scott; grandmother Anne Kolench (as well as numerous relatives and friends). Gerri loved life, from enjoying working in her flower beds, to scrap booking all the photos of her grandson Hunter; she was always busy and on the go. She loved the country life, if she wasn't riding her horse Thumper, she could be found on the back of a motorcycle. She loved a good game of softball, never being afraid to get in front of the ball to get that out; her lace printed shins could attest to that. She was always there for anyone who needed her. Gerri was an animal lover, anyone who knew her would agree; with three dogs, a cat, a rabbit and two horses, you just knew she had to be. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. Gone but never forgotten and always in our hearts, we love you Gerri. Celebration of Gerri's life will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. West at 11:00 a.m. Special Thank You to the doctors and nurses of Selkirk Hospital for making Gerri comfortable in her final days. In lieu of flowers, Gerri has requested donations to be made to either: The Canadian Diabetes Association or CancerCare Manitoba. Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear.
