Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERARD PATRICE LAVALLEE March 21, 1953 June 29, 2011 After a lengthy and courageous battle, with his family by his side, Gerard (Chubby) Lavallée passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 58 years. Gerard leaves behind his brothers and sisters Paulette Wiebe (Walter Henry), Ron (Venetia), Gisele Findlay (Bill), Robert, and Arnold (Lucienne), and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Patrice and Delphine. Gerard grew up in St. Laurent, MB. Chubby worked for the Manitoba Metis Federation for the past 12 years. Thank you to the staff at Health Sciences Centre for the care and support that you gave to Gerard. Funeral service will be held at St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church, Saturday, July 9, at 11:00 a.m. with prayers at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Diabetes Foundation in Gerard's name.
