CHARLIE ALBERT SMITH Peacefully on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, with family by his side, Charlie passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 77 years. Left to mourn Charlie's passing is his beloved wife Anne of 58 years of marriage; daughters Arlene and Debbie (Jim); grandchildren Brittany (Cody) and Jennifer; brother George; as well missing him is his dog Ruff . He was predeceased by his parents George and Germaine and brother Gilbert. Charlie was born September 11, 1933, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He began his career in the dental industry at the young age of 16 years old. He eventually worked his way up to be part owner of Manitoba Dental Lab. Charlie was lucky enough to be able to retire at the age of 50, so he could travel, golf and enjoy being with his family. He has made many friends over the years, and was liked by everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed, especially at Christmas, when he would regale the family every year with his traditional Rusty Draper CDs. In compliance with Charlie's wishes a private family service will be held. Thank you to the staff at the Grace Hospital for all of the care you have given.
