• Here I am again, somehow back on this site, looking at your picture and rereading the memoirs from your loved ones and me. Life is a journey, and I am eternally grateful for your presence in my journey. Physical connection is strong, for certain, but the memory, emotion and spiritual connection we share goes much deeper than the physical.... Remember soaking your feet in your kitchen sink after a Birdshill Bryan Adams concert which despite being in July, we were freezing in the cold and rain. I still have that photo of your and your tiny feet in that sink on Furby, and your hat backwards. You were always able to make me laugh out loud and still bring a smile to my face. • Today I think of you, bittersweet, and yet, the passage of time somehow lessens the sting. I remember the time you traveled to San Diego to visit us for 2 weeks.... You certainly shook up a few spots around that town :-) Harpo, I recently acknowledged the 18 year mark of my sobriety, and your circumstances and your presence in my life was a large part of the ultimate decision to put down my old ways. It has been a hard exciting freeing journey, a journey never ending. I will see you soon, as Time on the physical plane is so fleeting. • Mom, what is there to say about you that could express how affectionate, open minded, free spirited and full of life you were in the short 13 years that we were together? You were my best friend and I am such a chip off the 'ol block that I love that about myself :) We share a deep love for music, for life, for people, for animals, for creative energy... the list goes on and you live through me every day. • I am thinking of you every day since reading of your passing to spirit...... I chuckled yesterday when I saw this picture of you in the obituary. It is a beautiful picture of you. It was taken circa 1993 after you had won yet another radio contest and the prize was a hairstyling and make-up application. Of course me and Devan oohed and ahhhed after your appointment and the beautiful albiet different look for you. You couldn't wait to wash all of "that stuff" off your face!.
