BETTY ROGALSKY (nee Peters) Peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Golden Links Lodge at the age of 81 years. Betty was predeceased by her five brothers, one sister and infant son Sheldon. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 56 years, Herman, her children Doug (Marlene), Edith, Gayleen (George), Craig (Dana), 11 grandchildren, one sister Margaret, one brother Henry, extended family and friends. Mom was born in Boissevain in 1929 and was raised on the family farm. She moved to Winnipeg in 1952 and enrolled in the St. Boniface Hospital School of Nursing. Following her graduation, she married Herman and they raised their family on the family farm in Domain, Manitoba. Her career as a nurse was fulfilled at Victoria General Hospital. A Visitation will be held at Klassen Funeral Home on Sunday, July 3, 2011 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at LaSalle Community Church on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be prior to the service in LaSalle Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Golden Links Lodge for their care and compassion.
