ROY ALLAN JACK Roy Allan Jack was born May 23, 1936 in Winnipeg, son of Roy Melville Jack and Ann Mabel Moore, and passed away June 30, 2011 after a battle with diabetes and kidney disease. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Don Jack. He leaves his loving wife Charlotte, son Dale (Pam), daughters Heather and Colleen; grandchildren Amanda (Rob), Jade (Dustin), Jamie and Siobhan and Rowan, great-grandchildren Marshall and Valerie and several cousins. Roy earned his B.Sc. and B.Ed. degrees (University of Manitoba). He taught in Manitoba for 25 years until 1995. He also taught for two years in Nigeria. Roy wrote poetry, was a painter, sculptor and enjoyed choral singing. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1960. It was the center of his life. He was selfless, the first to help anyone in need, and had a generous spirit and a good sense of humour. His greatest lesson was unconditional love and the importance of family. The greatest loves of Roy's life were his wife and family. Since Roy lost his eyesight, his greatest joy was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial Service to be held 6:30 p.m., July 5 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 45 Dalhousie Drive. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Roy's name to Deer Lodge, C.N.I.B., or the Kidney Foundation. Thanks to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital and Deer Lodge Hospital.
