PAUL WYNNYCHUK On Tuesday, June 28, 2011, Paul Wynnychuk passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years at Oakview Place in Winnipeg, MB. Paul was born on March 4, 1926 in Pansy, MB. He was the fourth child born to Peter and Sophie Wynnychuk. As a young man, Paul worked as a logger in Manitoba, as well as British Columbia. He later took on a career with rebar. Paul often spoke about this trade and his ability in reading blue prints and tying steel. This trade took him to Western provinces, Northern Manitoba and Winnipeg. He continued in this field right up into retirement. Paul was an outdoors enthusiast. During the spring and summer he would travel to various parts of the province to see where he could get his greatest catch. With winter came moose hunting and deer hunting, followed by the numerous stories of how he got his game. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Sophie; sister Doris; brothers, Nickolas, James and Stephen; nephew Peter; and his soulmate Jean. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express special thanks to the Oakview staff for their loving and compassionate care. Prayers will be held Monday, July 4, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at the Vita Funeral Home.
