MARIE-LOUISE BOULET (nee ROBIN) 1922 - 2011 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie-Louise Boulet, age 88, at Saint-Boniface Hospital on Friday, July 1, 2011. She will be missed by her children, Armand (Charlotte Desbiens), Québec, QC, and their children, Tania, Karine and Pierre; Lilianne (Daniel Erickson) and their two children, Michelle and Tania; Paul-Emile (Rhonda Stearns), and stepson RJ; and Edith (John Wylie); as well as ten great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her sister Rosalie LeFebvre of Montreal and numerous nieces and nephews. Louise was predeceased by her husband Armand, sisters Noëlla Robin and Terry Clark, brothers Paul-Emile Robin, Henri Robin and Clément Robin. Mom was born and raised in Fort Frances, ON. She had a brief career as a laboratory technologist but after the birth of her children chose to stay at home. She was a devoted mother who wore many hats: cook, seamstress, housekeeper, but most importantly, homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, baking, reading and playing cards. She very much enjoyed the last three years of her life as a resident of Manoir de la Cathédrale, where she enjoyed a very active social life. The family would like to thank the staff of the Manoir for all of their help in making the last years of her life so pleasurable. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Green Acres Funeral Home, with a viewing one half hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louise's memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
