IRIS ANNE LARSEN It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our Mom, Iris Anne Larsen, aged 61 years, at her residence on June 29, 2011. Iris is survived by her three children, Teresa (Marc), Jeffery (Corlie), Wade (Morgann); mother Eleanor Bruce; sisters, Rachel (Ron) Berg, Tanis (Bruce) Frost; brother Terry (Sonya) Bruce; mother-in-law Beatrice Larsen, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ken in 2003 and her father Tan Bruce in 1995. Iris was born July 14, 1949 in Teulon, Manitoba and was raised in the Inwood area. She obtained her hairdressing license and worked as a hairdresser for many years. In 1968, Iris married the love of her life, Ken and together they had three children which were raised on the family farm. Iris enjoyed camping and fishing trips, entertaining friends and family, and was always up for a good game of crib. She had a good sense of humour and was known for her quick wit and kind heart. Special thanks to Danielle Siwicki of homecare to whom she looked forward to seeing week after week. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Mom: At last you and Dad are united again, may you so gracefully dance in each others arms together forever. A Celebration of Life will be held at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main Street, Stonewall on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. A private family interment will be held at a later date at the Erinview Cemetery.
