Son of the late Harold and Agatha (Kirwan) Gagnon. Beloved husband of Monica (Cleaver) Gagnon. Loving father of Andrea Lynn (predeceased), Charlene Plexman (Todd) of Sudbury and Michael (Gillian) of British Columbia. Cherished grandfather of Marina, Julia, Aaron and Marc. Dear brother of Gerald, Shirley (Ernest Barbe predeceased), Carl (wife Roberta) (both predeceased) all of Coniston, Blaine of King City and Arlene (Ken Bellamy) of Milton. Special brother-in-law to Gerry (Lynn) Cleaver (predeceased), Bob Cleaver (predeceased), Joe (Milly) Cleaver and Rod (Deborah) Cleaver. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Harley worked at Falconbridge for 19 years then with Co-operators Insurance (Sudbury and Winnipeg). He lived in Winnipeg from 1979 to 1997 and was involved in the Coniston Credit Union, Coniston Minor Hockey, Coniston Curling Club, Winnipeg Optimist Club and the Magnificent Seven at Unicity McDonald's. He enjoyed seven years of wintering in Arizona, was an avid traveler, Toronto Blue Jays baseball fan. Harley enjoyed watching his granddaughters in the Lady Wolves hockey games. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. Paul the Apostle Church, Coniston Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Prayers 3:00 p.m., Thursday. Cremation with entombment at the St. John's Cemetery, Garson. (Friends may call 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday). Donations to the Maison Vale Hospice would be appreciated.
