Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIDA JARVIS The family of Ida Jarvis announce her passing on March 19, 2011 at Orchard Park Manor, Kelowna, BC. She was predeceased by her husband Henry in 1992. Also by her parents, Rodrigue and Blanche Prefontaine; her sister Florence (Oscar) Legault; and brothers, Eugene and Roland. She is survived by her daughter Donna (Gerald) Harder and their children, Myles, Carolyn (Jason) Porte, Evan and Angela; her son Greg (Cisca) and their daughter Morgan; and her daughter Tracy (Owen) Yoshida and their children, Avery, Jonathan and Taylor. Ida was born September 23, 1916 near Elie, MB. After Grade XII, she completed a stenographer course at Success Business College, followed by employment at Gillis and Warren. Upon marriage to Henry in 1945, they farmed in Dacotah, MB until retirement. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg.
