VIVIANE DOKKEN (nee GOBIN) November 30, 1961 - July 2, 2011 On Saturday afternoon, July 2, 2011, my loving wife Viviane, of 25 years, passed away with family by her side. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but mostly by her husband Kevin who loved and adored her more than anything in the world. Left to mourn are her mother Angele Gobin, sister Carole Christle (Peter), nieces Sara and Stephanie, in-laws Marty and Marlene Dokken. Viviane and Kevin met in high school (1979 at Dakota Collegiate); they dated for seven years and married on July 12, 1986. Viviane loved life and enjoyed the company of family and close friends. Her profession as a graphic artist gave her much satisfaction. Viviane really enjoyed travelling to Disney World with Kevin and family, going to movies, eating out, and family days on Sunday. All who knew Viviane will miss her laugh, friendly smile, beautiful brown eyes and that loving compassion that radiated off her. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011 at St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, 556 St. Anne's Road, St. Vital. Burial will follow at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
