Loving memories of Bernice will be cherished by her children Patricia (Norman) Suttorp, Diane (Lorne) Holigroski, Clarence (Cindy) Matychak and Beverley Foerster (Mory); her grandchildren and great grandchildren Charlene (Tom), Dominic and TJ; Kevin (Neela), Rio; Kimberly (Chris), Mason, William and Amy; Clayton, Emily; Crystal (Jeff), Allegra, Brendan, Marcena; Derek (Candice); Tyler (Natalie), Declan; Michelle; Neil (Shellbea); Jeffrey (Toni), Hayden; and Candice (Matthew). She is also survived by her sister Julie, brother Joe (Doris) and sister in-law Adeline. Bernice was born in Ladywood. She loved country western and Ukrainian music. Mom loved the outdoors working on her garden and flowers and blueberry picking. She especially loved lilacs and begonias and the spring season. She was a very hard worker, loving, caring and the most generous person. She made all our perogies, cabbage rolls and cheese cake. She was a great cook and would do anything for her family. At the age of 60, mom retired to Beausejour where she enjoyed her weekly bingo, playing cards and going to the lake. Thank you mom for always being there. We love you dearly and are going to miss you with all our hearts. You worked so hard all your life. It's your time to rest. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at East Gate Lodge for the past four years. The care and respect you gave our mother was wonderful. Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 8 at 10:30 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour with interment to follow in the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. Prayers will be sung on Thursday, July 7 at 7:30 p.m. also at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
