OLIVE LOWE July 10, 1928 - July 5, 2011 Olive passed away peacefully July 5, 2011 at Stonewall Hospital following a long battle with cancer. Her daughters were with her as she left her life's journey. She was born in Regina, SK. Olive married Robert Evans Lowe (Bob) on April 5, 1946. Together they had four daughters Pat (Bob), Stonewall; Gene (Larry), Teulon; Lorna, Lethbridge; Bobby, Lethbridge. Bob predeceased her February 9, 1987. Olive had many trials and tribulations in life. Throughout her challenges, she remained cheerful and optimistic. She loved her family dearly and spent many happy times with family members. She leaves behind many warm and happy memories. Olive loved to dance, sing, travel, craft and watch sports. She will always be remembered for her contagious laugh, her courage and her kindness. Also left to mourn her are her grandchildren Chris (Jodie), Shannon (Brent), Tara (Ron), Brandy (Brad), Ryan and Amber. Shawn left us in 1995 and remains our guardian angel. Olive also leaves seven great-grandchildren Devin, Dustin, Jarius, Brandy, Matthew, Caeden and Shannon. She is survived by her sisters Doris and Pearl, brother-in-law George Lowe (Maureen) and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at the Stonewall United Church on Friday, July 8 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stonewall Hospital, Palliative Care in Stonewall or Lil Baron cancer survivor program in Teulon.
