ANNE WILSON (nee GOLKO) Peacefully on Monday, July 4, 2011 at Concordia Hospital, Anne Wilson, aged 96 years. Anne was born in East Kildonan on March 4, 1915. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Fredrick T. in 1981, her father Roman Golko in 1980 and her mother Mary in 1985. She is survived by her three children, Joyce, husband Brian Stelnicki of Winnipeg, Fred and wife Diane Brus of Ayers Cliff, Quebec and Donald, wife Sherrill Ruckert of Winnipeg Beach; four grandchildren, Janet, husband Scott McLaren, Fred Stelnicki, Lauren Brus-Wilson, Jessica and husband Ken Papineau, as well as great-granddaughters Kaitlin McLaren, Samantha Stelnicki and great-grandsons Benjamin and William Papineau. Anne was a life time member of Holy Eucharist Parish in East Kildonan where she enjoyed her Thursday morning perogy making at the Parish with her many friends for the past 30 years. Anne and her husband Fred enjoyed many retirement years at their Florida home. The family would like to thank Dr. Komenda and all hospital staff at Concordia Hospital for their exceptional kindness and care. We would also like to thank Anne's neighbours for their kindness and care. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 9 at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Watt Street at Munroe Avenue with Rev. Dr. M. Kwiatkowski officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's memory to the St. Amant Centre. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
