Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryYVONNE WARKENTIN (nee GOBEIL) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yvonne, aged 67 years, at her residence on July 2, 2011. Yvonne is survived by her husband John; her three daughters, Frances (Léo) Bérard, Shelley Warkentin (Gerald Chartier), Janelle (Kevin) Chubey; her grandchildren Marissa, Zoé, Alexisse Bérard, Liam Chartier, Sophie Chubey; her sister Thérèse Gobeil-Cameron (Bob Cameron); her brother Lucien (Monique) Gobeil, as well as by many in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Sadly, her brother Emile (Donna) Gobeil passed away soon after on July 4, 2011. She was predeceased by her parents Edouard and Emma Gobeil and her two brothers Denis Gobeil and Philippe Gobeil. Yvonne will always be remembered as a woman full of life and love. She had an amazing sense of humour and brought joy and laughter to the many people she befriended over her life. Yvonne was a grandmother extraordinaire who would often be seen in makeshift costume engaged with her grandchildren in a fun-filled adventure. She enriched many people's homes and workplaces with her gift for flower gardening and baking. Yvonne was a fighter who survived breast cancer and challenged herself on the golf course despite her struggles with Parkinson's Disease. Special thanks to the many family members and friends who supported John and Yvonne in the last years. A Celebration of Life and Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 778 Archibald Street, Winnipeg, MB on Monday, July 11, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Society Manitoba, 171 Donald St. Suite 302, Winnipeg, MB R3C 1M4.
