Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryERIC IVAN HENRY KING 1942 2011 Peacefully, after a lengthy battle with liver disease, Eric King passed away with his family at his side on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Heritage Lodge at the age of 69. He leaves his son Graham King (Jessica Wall); daughter Christie Acheson (Kyle); grandchildren, Bryce, Kaitlyn and Haley; and three sisters, Hazel, Wendy and Marion, all of England. Eric proved to be a kind and caring father and grandfather. He was tremendously proud of his family and spent as much time as he possibly could with them; especially in recent years. Cremation has taken place and according to his wishes there will be no service. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Riverview Health Centre, 3East and Heritage Lodge for the excellent care Eric received during a most difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions be made to the Riverview Health Centre Foundation, One Morley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4. Eric was truly loved by his family and will never be forgotten. They are truly grateful for the wonderful memories created over the past few years and he will remain in their hearts forever. good ole eric the king of kenaston or basil me and bobby graham used to bug him when all 3 of us hung around together sittin at the Sherbrook and going to the nice fancy lounge by the misericordia hospital listening to jazz tunes, great memory all 3 of us going to the Winnipeg food bank and pickin up our birds and xmas food orders.
