CHRISTINA H. ANTCLIFF 1917 - 2011 Peacefully on July 1, 2011, to the distant sounds of bagpipes Mom left us to be with her beloved husband Cyril. Mom was born in Biggar, Saskatchewan in 1917 and moved to Regina at a young age. A loving and caring young woman, she graduated as a RN from Grey Nun's Hospital in Regina. She later fell in love with a handsome young patient, whom she married in 1945. Mom's life was filled with love and compassion for everyone that she knew. She taught us to love, respect people's differences and forgive with dignity. We will dearly miss her grace and gentleness and the twinkle in her eye whenever her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were near. Mom's strong sense of independence will forever be carried on through the stubbornness of her family. Mom was predeceased by her husband Cyril and brothers Alex and Dave. She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter Linda, precious grandchildren: Jodie (Curtis), Jamie (Melissa), Jeff (Michelle), Jill (Chris), and great-grandchildren: Bailey, Alexandra, Saydee, Cameron and Brandon. Great-Gramma will be watching from above for the safe arrival of her next great-grandchild. Also left are her son Ken (Gail) and grandchildren Tracey and Melanie. Family pets, Farley, Abby, Thor, Loki, Maggie and Odin will surely miss Gramma sneaking them people treats when she thought that no one was looking. The family wishes to thank the staff at Oakview Extendicare for their care and kindness shown to Mom. Flowers are respectfully declined. Given Mom's great love of animals, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to an animal shelter of your choice. A private family celebration of her life will take place at a later date. May peace attend thee, all through the night For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website.
