IRENE DAVIS (nee MAZEROLLE) Irene Davis died of cancer at home, in the embrace of her family, on Monday, July 4, 2011 in her 86th year. She is survived by Laurie, her husband of 61 years, eight children and 16 grandchildren. In Toronto, Mark (Patricia Duffy-Davis); in Calgary, Greg; in Winnipeg, Claude (Lynne McCarthy), Anne-Marie (William DeGagne), Gerald (Cheryl McNabb-Davis), Neil (Sheri Austen), Conrad (Jo), and Ellen-Louise (Henryk Berezowski). The beloved grandchildren are Tara, Jonathan, Courtney, Amanda, Stephen, Geoffrey, Brady, Adam, Andrea, Claire, Kevin, Karli-Anne, Ethan, Janell, Madelyn and Hillary. Also surviving are two of Irene's sisters Annette Mazerolle of Charlesbourg, Quebec and Aline Goulette of Charlo, New Brunswick, as well as numerous nieces and nephews in an extended family. Irene was predeceased by one sister and nine brothers. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Michele Evans as well as the staff of the Palliative Care Program for their selfless dedication. Cremation has taken place. As requested, there will be no service. Flowers are declined. If you wish, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
