Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAGNES BLANCHE HELMAN (nee LANE) It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Agnes Blanche Helman on July 7, 2011. Surrounded by family, she peacefully passed away at the age of 99 years at the Foyer Valade Nursing Home. Predeceased by husband, Joseph; sons, Garry and Camille; and daughter, Diane, as well as her nine brothers and sisters. Mom is survived by her children, Richard Helman, Beverly Marion (Don), Wanda Helman, Wendy McCloy and Sharon Helman, and will be sadly missed. Mom will also be fondly remembered by her 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, and her numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be officiated by Monsignor Stan Jaworski on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. The funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 10:00am at St. Vital Church, 1629 Pembina Highway, celebrated by Father Barry Schoonbaert and concelebrated by Monsignor Stan Jaworski. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, or to a charity of your choice. Full obituary ran in Saturday, July 9 paper.
