ARCHIE CLAYTON BUDD 1946 - 2011 After a short, but courageous battle, Archie succumbed to his illness on July 9, 2011 with his loving family and friends by his side. Archie is survived by his loving wife and best friend forever, Ramonda and his son Clayton (Jacqueline). He is also survived by brothers Alvin and Mel, and sister Louise. Mourning his loss are his in-laws Val (Lorne), Eric (Brenda), Tim, Kathy (Dennis), and Belinda, mother-in-law Beryl, special friends Corinne and Gordon Tye, along with nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by father-in-law Ray, his parents and sister Rita. Archie was born in Plumas, MB on November 16, 1946. He was a devoted husband, father and friend. His passion was driving which led him to 23 years with Napa Auto parts (Fort Ignition). He loved the simple things in life and never asked for anything in return, and he cherished Harley the dog he never wanted. He will be forever loved and missed. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurse Tracey at Concordia Hospital Emergency. A special thank you to all doctors and nurses from CancerCare Manitoba, Clinic 3 and Health Sciences Centre. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Highway, Winnipeg, MB with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Archie's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot.
