Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAN (JOHN) BADOWSKI Peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2011, Jan passed away at Misericordia Place, at the age of 94. Jan was born in Poland on May 24, 1917. He was predeceased by Mary, his wife of 50 years. Jan came to Canada in 1950, where he met his beloved Mary, and they married in August, 1959. Jan started working for the City of Winnipeg Waterworks in 1954, and retired in 1979. He was a member of the Polish Gymnastic Association Sokol since 1954. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. The extended family want to thank all the staff at Misericordia Place and Health Clinic for their loving care and support. 586-8044
