MARIA DRZEWIEC October 19, 1924 - July 12, 2011 Our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother passed away peacefully, after a brave battle with cancer, on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the age of 86 years. Left to forever cherish Maria's memory are her children, Christina (Jim), Zdzislaw, Dorothy; grandchildren, Scott (Lize), Liana (Dennis), Melanie (Dean), Amber, Brett, Damian (Crystal); great-grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Shaelyn, Kayla, Daniel, Nicholas, Jack, Marianne, Sid, Abby, Charlie and Ava. Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue, with Rev. Fr. José Eduardo Medeiros, presiding. A huge thank-you is extended to CancerCare, the amazing, wonderful, caring nurses on the Palliative Ward at St. Boniface Hospital and the Palliative Program. A thank-you is also extended to the very kind and helpful ladies with Homecare. Flowers are gratefully declined.
