DEBORAH (DEBBIE) ELIZABETH PINDER Peacefully on Sunday, July 10, 2011 Debbie passed away at St. Boniface Hospital surrounded by her family, after a battle with cancer, at the age of 57 years. Remaining to forever cherish Debbie's memory are her mother Anne; sister Janice (Stu); brother Allan (Patty); niece Shauna; nephew Scott; great-niece Sydney and her beloved dog Lucie. Debbie lived all of her life in Winnipeg and worked her entire career in the insurance business. She started with London Life then Great West Life and finally Sigurdson McFadden. The family would especially like to thank everyone at Sigurdson McFadden for all of their support particularly George, Kevin and her best friend Donna during Debbie's illness. A thank you is also extended to all of the staff at St. Boniface CancerCare and the nursing staff on 6E for their care and compassion. On Friday, July 15, 2011 Debbie's Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie's name may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.

Was reflecting on Debbie this morning and realized it has been almost 7 years since we lost her. I have never met a more dedicated person in my life and Debbie was joy to work beside.
