Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN SOUSA RESENDES Peacefully on June 21, 2011, John Resendes passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 80 years. John was the son of Manuel and Maria Resendes. He was born in Portugal on February 18, 1931 but moved to Canada in 1953. He worked as a Brick-Layer for most of his working life. John made many friends and enjoyed spending time with them whenever he could. He lived on Juno Street for well over thirty years and enjoyed his community so much that he was reluctant to leave. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. The casket will be open for viewing prior to the service.
