GEORGE TRUDEAU August 13, 1930 - July 11, 2011 After a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer, our beloved father, grandfather and uncle, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family at his bedside, at the Villa Youville in Ste Anne, MB. George was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Melina Trudeau; eight brothers and six sisters; two grandchildren, Justin in 1990 and Jocelyn Vincent in 2001. George is survived by his two sisters, Rosilia and Rose and one brother, Raymond; brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews, too numerous to mention. He will be fondly remembered by his loving wife, our mother, Mary Jane and his eight children, Maurice (Jeannine), Jeannine (Jerry), Yvonne, Mon St Laurent (Judy), Romeo (Karen), Claude (Monique), Cecile (Allen), Bebe Simone (Donald), also 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Green Acres on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place, a private internment will take place at a later date. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful care and compassion Dad received by all the staff of the Villa Youville, Soeur Forest and Soeur Rioux for their thoughts and prayers. A special thank you to the Doctors in Ste Anne and HSC CancerCare, also Doctor Curtis Krahn and his wonderful staff. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare MB at 675 McDermot and also the Steinbach Community Cancer Program, Box 939, Steinbach, R5G 1A3.
