Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOUIS EDWARD JOSEPH AYOTTE July 10, 1939 July 9, 2011 Louis Ayotte died suddenly in his sleep, Saturday, July 9, 2011, at the age of 71. Left to mourn his passing is his sister Lorraine Bonnefoy, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by Catherine Hebert (mother), Joseph David Ayotte (father), and Armand John Ayotte (brother). Louis was born in Morris, MB. He went to Provencher School, and took part in the school's Rifle Club. He was also with the military, Queen's Own Cameron, serving in Germany, Shilo and Winnipeg. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Winnipeg. One of his favorite sports was bowling with the LaVerendrye Club. He was an avid cyclist until he got injured. Since his retirement, he enjoyed meeting his friends at McDonald's and at The Forks. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Green Acres Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Father Martin Bradbury officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R2V 4H8.
