MARTHA MARY SCHULTZ August 12, 1935 July 13, 2011 Peacefully and with family at her side on July 13, 2011 at the Ashern Personal Care Home, Martha Mary Schultz of Moosehorn, MB entered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour at the age of 75 years. Martha was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was born near Ochre River, MB on August 12th, 1935 to Bertha and Richard Otto Paetzold. On December 27th, 1963 she married August George Schultz in Ste. Rose, MB and settled on the Schultz family farm near Moosehorn, MB. Martha was an avid gardener and generously shared her produce. She loved the farm and had many favourite pastimes including berry picking. She was an active member of the Moosehorn Baptist Church and loved teaching Sunday school as well as singing in the choir. She faithfully prayed for her family and friends. She loved to socialize in her community through her involvement as a 4-H leader and as a member of the Moosehorn Museum. Martha was predeceased by her husband, August George, May 15, 2002; her parents Bertha and Richard Otto Paetzold. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her daughter Bea (Sid) Dueck, Amber, Dean, Kyle, Stephanie; daughter Ruth (Dennis) Ronald, Hillary, Josiah, Christopher, Ana Karis; son John (Twila) Schultz Suzanne and Carly-Jo; her brother Otto Paetzold (Ruth) and numerous nieces and nephews. Martha lived her life with a deep faith. She courageously battled many health challenges with a positive attitude and cheery smile. Friends and relatives may pay their respects between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2011, at the Arnason Funeral Home in Ashern. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Moosehorn Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church. Interment to follow in the Moosehorn Baptist Cemetery. The family wishes to express deepest gratitude to the community, friends and neighbours that have given so graciously in various ways. We thank the doctors, staff of the Ashern Personal Care Home Dialysis Unit for their wonderful care of Mom over the past 7 years. We thank you for all the prayers that have been sent up on our behalf.
